I have been a developer for 7 years and started off with HTML & CSS from a library book. Orginially I wanted to develop a game but ended up getting a book on building websites. I have 4 and a half years of commercial experience as a developer and love my job.
In my free time I enjoy doing a variety of different things but as it’s my passion, the main thing I do is code. Sometimes I will be working on personal projects and sometimes I will spend my time learning new technologies. At the moment I’m learning Laravel and AngularJS.
In 2014, I built a website for a Stroke group which I volunteer for. When I built the website I was still learning web development so the website I built was poor quality.
After reviewing the site again in 2016, I decided that it was not good enough so I rebuilt the website using WordPress and chose a nice single page theme.
I once created a social media website which had a live chat powered by AJAX.
In 2016, I realised that there weren’t many BuddyPress live chat plugins so I decided it would be a good idea to create one.
The plugin currently has about 200+ active installs and over 9,000 downloads.
This is a website which I have worked on whilst employed by Paramount Web Technology.
I didn’t design the website but I was the developer for the whole project from start to finish.
This is one of my favourite projects because I got the chance to integrate the site with a variety of different API’s using SOAP, cURL, XML, JSON etc.

The design I have before this one for my website was terrible to I decided to re-do it. So I went and looked for a WordPress theme which I liked.
This was also the first time I built a website on WordPress from start to finish.
I pride myself in developing high quality, industry standard, professional websites.

There are so many plugins available in the WordPress plugin repository that often finding one to suit your needs is easy. However there are always times when you cannot find a plugin to do everything you need.
